Dear Discovery Cluster Users:

/gss_gpfs_scratch was brought down by a technician from Networking Services who removed network cables from the three main GSS-GPFS servers in our array in Holyoke that serves this parallel file system. Working backwards we have resolved this issue and brought the system back and it is now stable. Networking Service is looking into why this technician has done this even after being specifically instructed not to remove any network cables from these servers, and is taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and I request that you please check your jobs and resubmit if necessary.
