Dear Discovery Cluster Users:

Just a reminder to check the ITS - RC website http://www.northeastern.edu/rc and in particular http://nuweb12.neu.edu/rc/?page_id=352 for latest Discovery Cluster Status Updates.

If you have not already done so please ensure that you kill all your PEND jobs before the shutdown time. Also if your running jobs are not expected to complete by 17:00 hours May 17, 2015, kill them. All PEND jobs and running jobs will shutdown when the cluster is powered down. You will have to restart all your jobs. Please save your work and logout before the shutdown time, to prevent losing data in your login sessions. If you leave the PEND jobs and running jobs as they are they will be killed, and will not be restarted when the cluster is restarted. Please note these jobs down as you will have to restart them manually. If a running job stops due to the shutdown, and you have not "checkpointed" it, you most likely will lose the job state information and related data. 

Queues and hosts were closed at 17:00 hours May 16, 2015. The cluster queues will not accept any jobs.
