cuda-6.5 is available on Discovery Cluster ("module whatis cuda-6.5"). For benfits of this over the earlier cuda 6.0 see the end of the document available here - http://nuweb12.neu.edu/rc/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/CUDA-MPI.pdf.

Please move to 6.5 if you think any of the new features will benefit you in terms of performance or debugging.

Existing code compiled with cuda 6 will use the new libraries automatically should you chose to load the cuda 6.5 module instead of the 6.0 one. 

Otherwise continue using the GPU as before with the earlier cuda-6.0 module.
