Northeastern University, ITS, Research Computing will be holding a seminar on “Parallel Computing with Matlab on Discovery Cluster” on Thursday, November 13th, 2014. Time: 10.00am - 12.00pm. Seating Limit: 25.  This is open to all Faculty, Staff and Students. The registration is on a first come first served basis.

This will introduce attendees to the Matlab Distributed Computing Server environment on Discovery Cluster, configurations, queues, interactive and batch runs, Parallel Computing Toolboxes including GPU, Matlab mapreduce for large data sets outside memory, spmd, parfor, parpool, and debugging and tracing parallel code using Matlab.
