Dear Discovery Cluster Users,

We have been notified that there will be a power outage at the MGHPCC Data Center in Holyoke, MA on Monday, August 11th, 2014.

As a result of this we will have to shut down Discovery Cluster located there. In preparation for this shutdown all queues and compute nodes will be closed at midnight on Saturday, August  9th.

We will start power down of the Discovery Cluster after midnight on Sunday, August 10th.

MGHPCC operations have notified us that the data center will loose power in stages sometime in the early hours of Monday, August 11th. Power is expected to be fully resumed later in the day. After they test and give us a OK to power up Discovery Cluster we will begin to do so sometime Monday, August 11th. 

We will then test Discovery Cluster fully before opening it for users. Expect this sometime very late on Monday, August 11th.

We regret any inconvenience this will cause you.
