Hello Discovery users,
New Globus Collection: Discovery Cluster
We have set up a new endpoint for Globus file transfers and it is now open for testing.
This new endpoint is called “Discovery Cluster” and is hosted on the machine
globus-03.rc.northeastern.edu.
If you have used
Globus to transfer files into and out of the Discovery cluster before, you will notice few changes, the most significant being that you should not have to log in twice to access your files. Additionally, it is now much easier to create Guest Collections
to share your data with others (including outside collaborators).
If you have logged in to Globus lately, you will have seen the following notice:
The Globus endpoint at ‘northeastern#discovery’ is running v4 of the Globus Connect Server
and will be unavailable after Monday, December 18, 2023. Please test out the new collection at your convenience and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you,
