Digital Scholarship Librarian, Tisch Library, Tufts University, Medford, MA

Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 (depending upon years of professional experience and incoming rank of Assistant Librarian or Associate Librarian)

 

The Digital Scholarship Librarian works collaboratively to advance the scholarly and research activities of faculty, students, and staff engaged in digital scholarship, with particular attention to providing support for projects that involve the creation of digital editions, digital exhibits, and multimodal storytelling in a classroom setting. The Digital Scholarship Librarian will:

Reporting: 

This position will report to the Head of Digital Scholarship. 
  
Work Location: 

This full-time, full-year position is hybrid and includes work that can be done remotely as well as work that must be done on-site (e.g., classroom instruction and other programming, training, and collaboration). The person in this role is expected to commute to campus as needed.

The Research & Learning division consists of the Collections & Liaison Services, Digital Scholarship, and User Experience & Student Success departments.

About the library department:

The Digital Scholarship department facilitates creating and sharing scholarship in different mediums — from podcasts to information visualizations, to story maps, and beyond. Our staff have expertise in digital projects, media and critical making, data, copyright, and publishing. The department is also home to the Digital Design Studio (DDS), a creative space and community of practice for critical approaches to media and making.
