Hello RCN-ECS,

The Marine Division of South Carolina Dept. of Natural Resources is hiring a permanent Assistant Marine Scientist to join their population genetics team. This group works in close association with NOAA and the College of Charleston at the Hollings Marine Lab in Charleston on varied projects relating to fisheries management, conservation, stock enhancement, and molecular tool development for the Southeast. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to advise and teach graduate students through the College of Charleston as adjunct faculty, if they wish. This is a great position for recent PhDs, postdocs, or early career researchers who want to do impactful, applied research on marine species in a collaborative setting.

Application requires a CV, cover letter, and 3 references. If you have questions about the position, please email Dr. Tanya Darden ([log in to unmask]) or Dr. Katherine Silliman ([log in to unmask]).
