Hello RCN-Evolution in Changing Seas community!

We are reaching out on behalf of The MarineOmics working group. Our working group was funded by the RCN-ECS to compile recommendations for best practices on methodological transparency as well as statistical and experimental soundness in different topics under the umbrella of Marine Omics. Because we are creating a resource for the evolutionary biology community, and because marine omics includes many avenues on which we could focus our efforts, we have decided to conduct a survey to determine what topics are currently in most need of guidelines and resources. Our three main topics are Genome Assembly and Annotation, Population Genomics, & Functional Genomics, but the direction we take each of these three topics will be informed by the results of this survey. We ask that you please take a few minutes to complete this survey to help ensure the topics we decide to focus our efforts on are in line with what our field would like to see!
