Hello Discovery users, We hope everyone is looking forward to the upcoming holidays. We have a few important notes to share with you before the holiday break. January 6th maintenance The next Discovery cluster maintenance window will be January 6th from 5:00AM to 5:00PM. We are planning on completing the following maintenance tasks: * Upgrade the Isilon OneFS Operating System * Moving InfiniBand (IB) cables to support the new leaf switches * Remount Access Control Lists (ACLs) * Move top-of-rack secondary links Support during the holiday break There will be limited staffing from December 24 through January 4. We will be monitoring the cluster and storage systems and critical issues will continue to be addressed in an expedited time frame as usual. Be aware that for non-critical issues, the response time might be longer than usual due to the limited staffing during the break. Our graduate student assistants will be monitoring tickets, and they are also available for virtual consultations. You can schedule a consultation through our website: https://rc.northeastern.edu/support/consulting/ If you have any questions or issues, please feel free to reach out to us at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
