Hello Discovery Users,
Following the recent and rapid response of the administration to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, we wanted to make you formally aware of some changes in the services provided by Research Computing (RC). In accordance with university guidelines, the RC team is now working remotely (away from campus) and remains available during regular business hours. The team will continue to respond to all issues and requests, as well as provide consultations and training.
As a reminder, the annual MGHPCC shutdown is scheduled for June 3, 2020. This is the yearly scheduled maintenance of the facility that includes a complete powering down of all equipment. We will make sure to send periodic reminders of this event as we approach the deadline. At the present time, there are no plans to change this deadline.
As always, we encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to working with you to help ensure your research productivity, especially during these difficult times for our university and the greater global community. Please stay safe and well.
