*Elaine L. Westbrooks, Vice Provost for University Libraries & University
Librarian at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill* will be the
2020 Keynote Speaker. Ms. Westbrooks is a Board Member of the Digital
Public Library of America. Her keynote address is titled “Representing the
Others: Preserving Evidence and Knowledge for Equity”.

An annual update on Digital Commonwealth Collection will be given during
lunch by *Eben English, Digital Repository Services Manager at the Boston
Public Library.*

There will be three panel discussions during the morning session:

   - Politics, Privacy, and Ethics in Digital Collections

   - Vocabulary in Native American Digital Collections

   - LGBTQ+ Collections in Context: The Politics of Representation

A “Hot Topics” session will follow lunch, which will include rotating group
discussions on topics selected by conference attendees. Submit your topic
suggestion with your registration. Topics to be included in this session
will be voted on by attendees in early March.

The day will end with presentations on “History of Chinese Students at
Phillips Academy”, "Visibility for Disability Digitization Project", and
"Beyond Orality: Digital Preservation and the African Ajami Library".

Early registration (through March 9, 2020): $110 (members), $145
(non-members).

After March 9, 2020, registration: $125 (members), $160 (non-members).

Students: $50 (see criteria for student registration on website).

Registration includes continental breakfast, hot buffet lunch, snacks, and
beverages.

Digital Commonwealth will be offering 5 complimentary student registrations
