Hello Discovery users, We have been able to bring up a majority of Discovery’s compute nodes. Approximately 50 nodes are still down, and we will continue to work to restore service to them, but all other nodes are available for running jobs. Please check any jobs that you had running. You will need to resubmit any job that might have been terminated by the outage. The power outage at MGHPCC was severe enough to have tripped the main facility breaker, resulting in a loss of power to non-UPS backed equipment from 6:32PM to 7:15PM. UPS-backed power equipment remained on during this event. MGHPCC is investigating the cause of the power outage with Holyoke Gas and Electric.
