Hello,

As you may already know /scratch upgrade is one of the maintenance tasks planned for this year's shutdown period.  After the shutdown /scratch will be on new hardware with 2.8PB of storage available.

We're in the process of copying the current /scratch partition to the new.

We're hoping to have it finished before the shutdown.

Please help us by cleaning up your /scratch directories so that the copy finishes quicker.
