A reminder that Boston College Libraries' Digital Scholarship Open House is this Wednesday, May 1, from 2–4:30 pm. The event will be held in the Digital Studio, Rm. 205 in O’Neill Library (140 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill, MA).

Digital Scholarship Open House

This event will feature a number of speakers from this year's Digital Scholarship Incubator and GIS Faculty Cohort, as well as staff and faculty who have worked on various projects, including the Jesuit Online Bibliography. Refreshments will be provided.

Speakers will include:

Margaret Summerfield, PhD student, English Department (DS Incubator participant)

Sharon Lacey, Independent researcher (DS Incubator participant)

Rich Sweeney, Assistant Professor, Economics Department (GIS Faculty Cohort participant)

Seth Meehan (Associate Director of the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies), Cristiano Casalini (Research Scholar, Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies), Anna Kijas (Senior Digital Scholarship Librarian) and Sarah DeLorme (Associate Digital Scholarship Librarian) - Jesuit Online Bibliography

Stephen Sturgeon (Senior Digital Scholarship Librarian & Bibliographer for English) - The Becker Collection

Carling Hay (Earth and Environmental Sciences) - Podcasting and pedagogy
