Dear BostonDH community,

 

Harvard’s Digital Futures Consortium is excited to announce ArtTechPsyche, which will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Cabot Science Library. Returning for a fifth year, ArtTechPsyche celebrates human expression at the intersection of technology and the arts through numerous immersive digital experiences, art installations, technology demos, and visionary speakers. This annual symposium run by Harvard’s Digital Futures Consortium is a unique collaboration between Academic Technology for the FASHarvard Art Museums Department of Digital Infrastructure and Emerging Technology, Harvard Arts and Humanities Research Computing (DARTH), and the Harvard Library.

 

This year’s presenters, demonstrators, and artists include: Buse Aktas (Harvard Biorobotics Lab), Charity Everett (MIT Open Documentary Lab and Harvard Bok Center), George Fifield (Boston Cyberarts), Sands Fish (Media Lab Space Exploration Initiative), Caitlin Foley (artist, educator, and curator), Jeremy Guillette (Harvard Academic Technology for the FAS), Luke Hollis (Archimedes Digital), Michelle Lougee (fiber artist, sculptor, ceramist – Lesley University), Curtis McMullen (Harvard University Math Department), Merritt Moore (Harvard ArtLab – professional ballet dance and quantum physicist), Christopher Morse (University of Luxembourg – Centre for Contemporary and Digital History), Misha Rabinovich (artist, developer, and educator), and Jeff Steward (Harvard Art Museums).
