Humanities to begin Sep. 1, 2020, tenable for two years.
In its third year of existence the SHASS Programs in Digital Humanities work to advance the humanities through code, communication, and community. The Programs include a diverse undergraduate DH Programming lab (over 70% female and 35% under-represented minority)

The postdoc will work within the Mellon-funded SHASS Programs in Digital Humanities to pursue their own research, mentor undergraduate students in Digital Humanities, and enable the creation of digital tools to assist in other faculty research and pedagogy.
Depending on departmental needs, the scholar will teach up to one class per year in their area of research or discipline.
Applicants are welcomed in all areas of humanistic research represented in SHASS, including History, Literature, Anthropology, Global Languages, Music and Theater Research, Comparative Media Studies/Writing, Women and Gender Studies, and humanistic aspects
