Dear colleagues,

Please join us on Thursday, March 21st at 2:00–4:00 pm in 909 Renaissance Park for an exciting panel on Digital Public Humanities featuring: Caroline Klibanoff, Jim McGrath, and Roopika Risam and Alex Gil of the Torn Apart / Separados project. These scholars will share their current projects and talk about how they connect with the growing field of digital public humanities. Following the presentations, there will be time for questions and discussion. This event is co-sponsored with the Northeastern University Humanities Center.

The panelists will share the following talks: 
  • Alex Gil (Columbia University) and Roopika Risam (Salem State University): “Mobilized Humanities: The Case of Torn Apart / Separados”
  • Caroline Klibanoff (MIT Museum): “Monuments, Media & Museums: Making Digital Spaces for Practice”
  • Jim McGrath (Brown University): “Breaking Bandersnatch: Networked Publics, Interactive Storytelling, and Augmented Realities”
