Subject: New NSF Panelist Meeting Availability Request Tool

[cid:[log in to unmask]]

Dear Colleagues:

Beginning this month, the National Science Foundation (NSF) is introducing a new, optional tool for use by Program Offices to request reviewer availability for upcoming panels via an email to the reviewer containing a unique response link. This is a preliminary inquiry to determine availability only, and the sponsoring Program Office will provide additional correspondence if the reviewer is selected to participate on the particular panel.

NSF panelist meeting availability request emails will be sent from the [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> email alias but will be generated by the Program Officer in charge of the specific panel. Other items you should note:

  * The email subject line will be "National Science Foundation - Request to Provide Availability for Upcoming Meeting for [Program Name]."
  * The request email will have a unique reviewer response link which will direct the reviewer to a page on Research.gov.
  * For each series of dates, the reviewer will have the option to provide availability to join the meeting in person, and/or virtually, or indicate unavailability and then submit the information to NSF.

Please be on the lookout for these Program Office email requests. For IT system-related questions, please contact the NSF Help Desk at 1-800-381-1532 or [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Policy-related questions should be directed to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Regards,
Research.gov Team at the National Science Foundation
