Hi Joan, I hope it is okay I comment here. After we got the information that research.gov was ready for PDF documents generated from a Latex document, I tried a few documents from our PI's, and it still did no work for us. When we are over the heavy October/November deadline I will be happy to try again and work with a PI I know uses Latex. We were also thinking of an in-person user group meeting. Given the culture at NU, I think an in person meeting would foster a more constructive conversation (vs just email).
