Hi all,

The Northeastern University English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is excited to announce the EGSA Graduate Student Conference will be held on Saturday April 6, 2019 at Northeastern University. The theme is “Centering the Margins,” which refers to a scholarly focus on the voices, stories, and perspectives of historically, socially, and politically marginalized groups. We are also excited to announce that this year’s keynote will be Dr. James Chase Sanchez (http://www.middlebury.edu/academics/writing/wrprfaculty/node/552429), Assistant Professor of Writing and Rhetoric at Middlebury College. To learn more, please see the CFP attached.

Individual presentations will be approximately 15 minutes each. Please send abstracts of no more than 300 words to [log in to unmask] by January 10, 2018. Include in the submission your name, pronouns, department, and university affiliation as well as any accommodations you might require.

Please feel free to share this CFP and, if you are faculty or staff, invite graduate students to submit proposals.

Best,
Cara Marta Messina on behalf of the Northeastern University English Graduate Student Association
